Influence of span-wise coherence on the acoustic radiation in a cylinder wake

چکیده
The aim of this study is to detect and visualise the influence span-wise coherence on propagating sound waves emanating from a flow around circular cylinders with variations local radius. Synchronous particle image velocimetry (PIV) microphone measurements are performed in wind tunnel nozzle size 0.4 m×0.4 m at maximum speed U∞ = 43m s−1 . test section surrounded by full anechoic chamber approximately 9 m×9 m×5 m.
